This behavior is known as surplus killing, and it is common in many predatory mammals.Surplus killing is “triggered” when a predator finds itself suddenly surrounded by more prey than it can possibly eat, it loses its ability to control its killing instinct and attacks indiscriminately. Once the killing has subsided, the predator only eats what it actually wants to, and leaves the rest behind. Surplus killing is also known as “henhouse syndrome”, since it was first observed in foxes entering henhouses and killing all of the chickens therein.kurtlar hayvanları yemezler mi ki? sırf telef etmiş olmak için bu kadar hayvana zarar vermezler gibime geliyor ama bilmiyorum
