Flashback time: Zeref has a flashback to 777. Layla and Anna work together to open "The Door to the Future" which required the Eclipse Gate to be unleashed by Layla. Anna opened the door. Layla took care of the Eclipse Gate.

Also, Igneels powers are fading away and Natsu says he isn't letting Zeref get away again.
