Oden, Roger Korsanları'nın hazineyi çalmak niyetiyle orada olduğunu düşünüp Roger'la yüzleşmek için hızlıca adaya koşturuyor. Beyazsakal'ın tayfasındakiler onu durdurmaya çalışıyor ama yine de Oden ilk saldırıyı gerçekleştiriyor. Roger, Oden'i görünce mutlu oluyor ama ona değil, arkasındaki Beyazsakal'a saldırıyor. İkili son görüşmelerinin üzerinden ne kadar zaman geçtiğini yad ederek dövüşmeye başlıyorlar. İki korsan tayfası üç gün ve üç gece boyunca birbirleriyle savaşıyorlar. Dördüncü günde ise dövüşü bir kenara bırakıp partilemeye başlıyorlar. Teach, Shanks ve Buggy kendi tayfaları için nöbet tutuyorlar. Buggy, Shanks'a Teach'in tüm dövüş boyunca hiç uyumadan nöbet tuttuğunu söylüyor. Hatta Teach'in hayatı boyunca hiç uyumadığını da ekliyor.

Bu sırada iki kaptan ve Oden, Roger'ın 13 yıl önce bulduğu fakat okuyamadığı yazıları tartışıyorlar. Oden, Kozuki hanesi içinde aile sırlarını iletmek için kullandıkları gizli bir dil olduğundan bahsediyor. Rivayet o ki bu son adada koca bir hazine varmış ve Dünya Hükumeti bu yüzden oraya gidilmesini engellemeye çalışıyormuş. İlk başta bu iddialara pek itibar etmemiş ama zamanla fazlasını öğrendikçe doğru olabileceğini düşünmeye başlamış. Roger o son adaya ulaşıp tarihin en büyük korsanı olmak istiyor, Beyazsakal buna karşılık küçümseyici bir gülüş atıyor. Roger heyecanlı bir şekilde Oden'i bir yıllığına ödünç almayı teklif ediyor. Ortada obje gibi görülmek Oden'in hiç hoşuna gitmiyor ama Roger büyük bir ciddiyetle başını eğip Oden'e yalvarıyor. Beyazsakal tayfasından birini verme fikrine hiç sıcak bakmıyor ama Oden bir şekilde bu tekliften etkilenip gitmeye karar veriyor.

Roger'ın gemisinde Hiyori doğuyor. Nekomamushi ile Inuarashi yine kaçak bir şekilde gemiye binmişler. Bu sırada Crocus, Oden'e Roger'ın bir yıllık ömrü kaldığını söylüyor. Roger bu bir seneyi dolu dolu yaşamaya kararlı. Tayfa Skypiea'ya gidiyor ve çanı not ediyorlar, Roger bu çandan güçlü bir ses geldiğini söylüyor. Oden yazıtı okuyor ve "Posedion" adında bir silahla ilgili bir şeyler yazdığını söylüyor. Devamında ise onları son adaya götüreceğine dair emareler görüyor. Oden, Roger'ın son macerasına çıkıyor olduklarını ilan ediyor.

Oden: Shiro-chan is a great man but I can't measure up Roger either. I'm a very lucky man.

Roger: How many years has it been Newgate!!!

Teach: Are those guys apprentices?
Marco: Yh, they've been there since way back
Marco/Teach?: They don't look all that strong but...they have a composed/mature air about them
Buggy: Shanks, there was that one guy wearing a cap right? I hear he didn't sleep at all last night and... (can't see the rest)
Buggy: Also that he's never slept a wink since he was born.
Shanks: For realz?! are there humans beings like that?! That's pretty sweet/awesome~

Roger: They are drippings of the 4 red stones. I thought the poneglyph that the the world government have put a ban on reading since long ago, were simply just cultural heritage but they ended up also being an important map for us.
Roger: The government are saying "refrain from going to the final island"! so my interest in it only grew even more (is what I think Roger is saying. Context isn't clear)
Roger: on arriving to the final island, in name and reality, we became the first ever pirate~something in the world...(can't see the rest)
